This evening, at Gampel Pavilion, the  #1 UCONN Men’s Basketball Team entertains the Syracuse (Poor Excuse) Orangemen and their prolific coach, Jimmy  “The Whiner” Boeheim.  Now, since I really can’t stand this team and think they are about as inconsistent as the weather. Therefore,  I’m going to strongly suggest that you go and lay the 12 points the oddsmakers have asigned to this game and because we are going to slow down this high scoring squad and physically kick their butts.  The Syracuse defense stinks and so you should look for A.J Price to have a big bounce back game. Granted, they have scored a lot of points but, that wasn’t against the best shot blocking and defensive team in the Big East. Jeff Adrien has always done well against the Orangemen, Hasheem Thabeet keeps getting better and Jerome Dyson’s drives to the hoop are going to turn this one into a huge home court win.

Seton Hall is next but, everyone is looking at next Monday against Pittsburgh as the big showdown that should determine the winner of the Big East. Villinova beat Marquette last night and so I don’t think they are as good as advertised.
